Bangalore is known for its good climate, it’s good to travel to Bangalore all 12 months. It’s a liveable city and does not offer much in city but still you can visit Vidhan Saudha (Assembly Building), nearby Cubbon Park, Lal Bagh, Vishveswarayya Science Museum, Bull Temple. Evening you can either go to Commercial Street or to UB Mall. All these can be covered in one day.

Bangalore is blessed with a pleasant weather all year round. Things have changed off late, summers can get very hot ( though it will be better than Chennai and other cities from the north). Monsoon can make stepping out and doing touristy things difficult especially with Ola , Uber, and autos. So ideally visit between Oct To Mar. Right now the weather is perfect. There aren't much to see within Bangalore as such except, Banerghatta National Park, Wonderla Amusement Park, Bangalore Palace, Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park. Explore the Breweries and Udupi darshanis here for sure. Around Bangalore visit Nandi Hills for sunrise, Bull Temple and so on. Keeping Bangalore as base you can even travel intercity to Ooty, Hampi, Mysore, Coorg, Chikmagalur. Bangalore can act as gateway to the south. Definitely cover Mysore, it's only 3 hours away.
