And yeah time available is about a week as I am thinking of clubbing Ajmer and udaipur too
Indore-Ratlam-Chittorgarh-Bhilwara-Kishangarh-Jaipur is longer but the best route. Excellent toll roads all the way barring a brief patch at Nimbahera at MP-RJ border.

Road conditions between Indore and Jaipur are good. Check the shortest route on Google maps.
