Thanku😊
Honestly the trek rates aren't that high. It does seem expensive but the truth is it's not that expensive if you have gears. To start with if you haven't been on any trek yet try visiting some small treks. If you are from Mumbai or anywhere in Maharashtra then you are sitting in middle of the Trekking state!! You can choose any good trek from here. Later you can get yourself enrolled with any trek groups such as IndiaHikes or KailashRath or many others who arrange treks for North for under 15k including stay and food (obviously) My recent trek to Himachal costed me 26k overall including roundtrip flights to Delhi and roundtrip buses to Kasol. I have uploaded two blogs of my Kasol trek so do check those out! Happy Traveling!

Hey, great that you are interested in treks. You can register with "Youth Hostel Association of India" there treks are good and low budget and have good enroute facilities, plus it's safe for women's traveling solo. visit the yhai website and take a membership, it's very cheap. then scroll for the treks and seats available and register yourself in your choice of trek. it's simple. I have written 2 blogs on my trek to himachal and sandakphu. you can read them for details.
