Apart from local Udaipur;two placesyou must visit 1)Mount abu -164km-3 hours 2)Chittorgarh Fort(Padmavat Is based on the story of this fort) -113km-2 hours

Gem of Rajasthan. Do explore Pichola lake, city palace, Karni Mata for ropeway and beautiful view, gatehouse Sagar lake, bagore ki haveli for shopping : explore badi bazaar, haathi market. 3 days should be enough

Great idea to plan a trip to Udaipur.It is a beautiful place and you must visit it.Udaipur should take you a minimum of 2 days to cover the must see places.Along with that you can go to either Kumbhalgarh or Chittorgarh as per your convenience.

Hello Udaipur is best choice for sure because there is so many places to visit and also near by near to mount abu , Chittor Fort which have one of the 2nd longest wall around the world and also you can visit in Udaipur like Fatehsagar lake and also Some Fort ! happy to help you :) Keep Exploring ;)

It's great that u are planning for trip to city of lakes... UDAIPUR.. it is well connected with railways..prefer this if u wanna travel in cheap.. Book any hotel online (can get within Rs 600).. 3N /4D..is enough to explore... Also include Chittorgarh, Haldighati, Jhadol village and Mount abu in itinerary.. Don’t forget to enjoy rope way ride to reach Karni Mata temple..

Heyy! Head off to City Palace and Lake Pichola during the day, you can also visit Gangaur Ghat and grab some souvenirs, do some shopping (they've some good stuff). The above 3 places are not very far from each other..You could go visit Badi Talab, or Hike to Bahubali Hill for a mesmerizing sunset.. For the night, you could have peaceful dinner by the lake and enjoy listening to Rajasthani folk songs by Ambrai Ghat! This could work well if you're there for a day or two..
