Hey guys, has anyone camped along the Coastal route towards Bombay, from Udupi? I'm riding with a friend and we plan to sleep in our tent along the way. Is it safe?

Hey Veer, I have rode this route and its safe in all the way. But for camping I would suggest you to camp near petrol bunks or near any restaurants and near police check posts. It is always better to be on a safer side and the coastal route also being a busy highway see that you camp at least 200 meters away from the road. Happy Travelling!!!

Hey, though its safe to camp along that coastal route, but I will suggest you to pitch your tent near to a place where you can find instant help (when needed).
