Hi Smriti, the best time to visit Northeast India is from September to April. In some ways, you can say that besides Sikkim most of NE India is unexplored. Yet, here are some places that you might fancy: Ujjayanta Palace (Tripura), Champhai (Mizoram), Umshiang (Meghalaya), Khonoma (Nagaland), Loktak Lake (Manipur), Majuli (Assam) and Bomdila (Arunachal Pradesh).

U can Travell to sikkim or cherapunjei, bt its monsoon time so travelling to such place can be lil risky .. n northeast gets heavy rainfall during Mansoon so it may spoil ur tour ... Still its upto ur luck .. Bt I was quit lucky coz monsoon didn't spoil my tour , I was also on tour of Assam n Meghalaya during monsoon time around 2 yrs ago ????

It’s honestly a pity that the beautiful Northeast India has remained largely unexplored despite being so stunning. Its beauty is unparalleled and there are a plethora of tourist attractions in Northeast India. You can visit Majuli in Assam which is a wonderful river island. If you have an affinity towards flowers, then you must visit Dzukou Valley in Nagaland which is famous for its seasonal flowers. You can also take up an Arunachal Pradesh day tour exploring scenic places like the Pankang Teng Tso Lake, Urgyelling Monastery, Jaswant Garh, etc. or go trekking on Sela Pass and Gorichen trek. Choose for yourself.
