No camping is not allow on top and avoid weekends
Thanks for the response but i am bit confused is it safe to visit himachal and camping is still on at triund top
Triund is one the easiest treks so you won't have to worry much about the difficulty of the trek. Just carry good winter wears as there will be snow. There are lots of cafes on the trail so you won't have to worry about your eating options. Also, if you want a more secluded experience then I would suggest you not to camp in Triund but rather camp in Snowline. It's around 2hours trek from Triund Top but trust me Snowline is a magical place. For local sightseeing in Dharamshala and Mcleodganj, hire a cab and the driver will take you to all the places there. Best wishes for your first trek.

Triund is an easy trek and you'll definitely find few cafes during this trek, usually for a person who is fit it takes around 2-2.5 hrs to reach but in it's covered in snow it could take more then 3 hrs. I don't think you'll be able to reach snowline as during winters it is completely covered in snow ( it's your first time, don't push yourself for snowline). Triund trek has a well defined path so no need to worry about it. Camping is not allowed on tround these days (make sure you confirm before you start your trek). I McLeodganj make sure to check out these places: Tourist attraction: 1. bhagsunag waterfall 2. Dalai Lama complex 3. Gompa 4. St John's church best Cafe: Illiterati *on the way to Gompa Shiva Cafe *diversion on the way to Bhagsunag
