For still shot use HQ mode which helps to reduce the noise(the tiny grains in photos) and you can also control the shutter speed for the light trail. Good Luck!! Happy Travelling!!

For night photography, you can use pro mode of the camera for good pictures. Adjust the iso and exposure of the camera according to light.
