I'll suggest couch surfing is the way to go. Google it you'll find couch surfing options in Goa.

Couch surfing,holiday swap are there if you host someone they will get you some stay for free or 1$ or you can contact some hostels if you have plan for month they have different internship for travelers

Try for couch surfing or try some organisations who give accommodation and food for teaching some skills to their employees.
