Hey Amrit, You can easily reach Dharamshala from amritsar ... and the roads will for sure be open all over the year .... But to Mcleodganj from Dharamshala i guess it's all on snow fall ... but have not seen anytime about closing of roads to Mcleodganj ... For sure you can reach Dharamshala easily from amritsar ... Happy Travelling Bro!!!

Hey Amrit, Don't worry. Roads are opened asap if get blocked. It will be harsh and cold weather so pack your winter clothes like jackets, woolen socks, woolen cap, moisturizer,first-aid kit,gloves etc. On the other hand, it will be more peaceful, less crowded and budget trip.
