Hey there, Your route Guwahati-Shillong-Cherapunjee-Tyrna-Nongriat First you need to reach Cherapunjee, from there you can take the daily local bus that runs from Cherapunjee to Tyrna (except on Sunday). Tyrna is 12 kms away from Cherapunjee and is the getaway to Nongriat village. From there ask the locals for directions to the stairs that leads to the Nongriat village. There is no roads, only stairs more than 3000. Very enduring and an adventurous trek. Happy Travels!

Don't look for any agency, i did it on my solo trip to north east , so here i give you the best way to reach there and also the cheapest way take a shared taxi from guwahati and reach shillong which will cost you rs200 after reaching shillong, take a shared taxi from baara bazaar to sohra which will cost you just rs70 stay overnightin sohra guesthouse and next day early morning take a share can to tyrna village, it will drop you infront of govt school , 100m from there is the starting point of 3500 steps trek to reach nongriat village. cover your 3500 steps and you will find yourself in front of magnifcent double decker root bridge in nongriat village for more information read my blog asvinsamadhiya.fashion.blog https://asvinsamadhiya.fashion.blog/2018/08/05/my-20-day-solo-journey-in-meghalaya/
