Hey, As per news articles, few countries which are opening their boundaries for tourists from June onwards will be applying a 14 days quarantine period for international tourists. It goes without saying that this would certainly dampen international trip prospects. Further, I think flight costs may increase because they may have to apply social distancing measures onboard ajdy that could mean a certain no. of seats remaining empty. However I think hotel and other accomodation prices may decrease so as to attract tourists.
If you plan properly than you can even travel.travel to unexplored place nearer to your town, check airbnb rather than hotels, travel by own car as flight rates will be high n train is not working.take all hygiene precautions n make your trip successful.
Yes, post lockdown travelling will be impacted. People will be afraid to go overseas. Infact, countries restrict travelers from the other countries. I'm from India and I have planned to travel to Mount Abu, Rajasthan but because of lockdown, we had to cancel it and Thanks to Pallav(RajasthanCarsRental) who agreed to refund us.
I think for thier own safety people would avoid travelling, especially which involves any public transport travel like trains, buses or flights. probably people rather start with travelling by their own vehicle and a day trips to start with and slowly moving towards longer trips with stays in hotels
