Hi all , I am planning a solo trip to Pahalgam , I can take a flight to Srinagar or Jammu ... I would like to know if I hire a cab or a rick from Srinagar to Pahalgam would be cheaper or if I ride from Jammu to Srinagar would be a better option ?

Hi friend, You can go to Pahelgam from Srinagar by JKHRTC bus. Distance between Srinagar to Pahelgam is around 95 km. Bus fare is Rs 195 onwards. Jammu to Srinagar- 268 km. JKHRTC buses are available. Happy journey :)

It is better to go to pehelgham from Srinagar than travelling from Jammu, you can rent a cab as well or travel by the bus.

If you can directly go to Srinagar via flight it is best. Coz Jammu to Srinagar is 5 hours via road and it is again waste of time and money. Pahalgam to Srinagar You can book a cab or bus. N of course bus will be cheaper but it will take more time as compared to cab. But going to directly Srinagar would help you save a lot of time n money.

Pahelgam is nearer to Srinagar so it is better to go there and then take bus or taxi
