If you are comfortable with accommodation on Public islands then you can try Hotels/Guest Houses on Gulhi/Maafushi.
Holiday Inn is a decent choice in my view which is not very far either, and they allow private transfers also which results in saving lots of money.

Also you can check Iru fushi.. it's a good property with good food and water villas.. in precise it's a affordable luxury 4 star property... also you have many offers right now going on..
