you can plan for Agumbe in Shimoga(western ghats). It's called as the cheerapunji of Karnataka and the hot spot of King Cobras. you can look out for my recent post "The Lush green Agumbe" in my profile.

The best time to visit the Western Ghats, however, is after October. You'll be treated to misty cool hill walks and warm-to-hot days in the national parks.
