Bangkok is mostly for shopping. If swimming and water sports are your priorities then phuket is your place. Phuket is beautiful but expensive.

Hi Rushabh, Bangkok and Phuket are two very different places so it depends on what you rather prefer. Phuket is a beach town and the perfect place to relax while at the same time enjoying your evenings on the market street. Bangkok will give you more of a big city vibe. But still Phuket is not something to be overlooked. Check out my post where I've detailed my trip to Phuket.
