If you're looking to enjoy a perfect winter wonderland, December is a good time to go. You could ski, you would see the snow covered mountains, lakes, meadows etc. just ensure you are well covered to handle that kind of cold

If you are into winter sports and are looking for guaranteed snow, mid-December to mid-March is the best time to visit Switzerland. You don't have to be a skier to enjoy the splendid alpine vistas.
