Hi . Are public buses in udaipur safe for female tourists ? Also are they if good quality ? We wouldn't want to spoil our trip by travelling in dirty unkept outdated buses . Thanks

See there are tourist buses which are not in much more good condition, you can travel in auto rickshaw which will is not that much high rated.

Better to use Ola, Uber or Jugnoo that will give you relief from hot weather also. Incase you planning for whole day, just talk about it to the cab driver after getting into cab and they will charge lesser than the cab rate. People are good there and you will face no difficulty in communication. P.S: I did the same, enjoyed the sight seeing for two days at comparatively lesser cost than normal.

Hi Kavya, are you asking about buses within Udaipur or intercity buses? For traveling within Udaipur, I recommend using autos or cabs. You can also rent motorcycles for around Rs. 700 per day if you want to explore Udaipur and surroundings on your own. To travel to and from Udaipur, check Volvo buses with good ratings. Some of the Volvo buses are magnificent.
