Hi, Harsh!
A budget itinerary from Delhi to Hong Kong would depend on whether you are travelling solo, with family, or with friends. It also depends on the kind of experiences you are looking to enjoy. Your 5-Day itinerary in Hong Kong should include the historic ruins of the Old City, city tour that takes you for visits to Aberdeen fishing village, Victoria Peak, exploration of Macau attractions, Disneyland tour, and Ocean Park.

I would mention our iteniary. We reached Hongkong and from Hongkong took airport express to reach our hotel Marco Polo. The airport Express shuttle bus service dropped us exactly near Marco polo hotel. we walked to star ferry terminal which was nearby and Avenue of stars. Later in evening we went to the peak tram and wax museum. On day 2 we visited Disney land. There is no need for any cabs. The transport
Transport options are good there. only thing u should carry is map. the map provides complete info on which metro line goes where and buses are also good
Day3 we took a ferry from the star ferry terminal and reached central side. then took a bus from Admiralty bus terminal. spent full day at ocean park.
Day 4 Big buddha
we travelled big buddha through the Ngong ping 360 cable car. It's a superb experience to travel in cable car for around 20 to 25 mins. It's a glass cable car and you can see the beautiful nature below. You can see the ferries moving in the water, green mountains. Day 5 Shopping and strolling nearby areas and market. We had earlier thought of Macau but could not include it in our iteniary since minimum 3 or 4 days needed for Hongkong sightseeing. Also we were traveling with kid aged 3 yrs and didn't want to make it hectic. In case you seriously want to cover Macau, u can skip wax museum, peak tram etc. The peak provides nice view from top of the Hongkong city. Cab were costly there. we covered entire iteniary by ferry, metro I.e. mtr lines and buses. For disney land we had to change 3 trains.
