Currently the visa fee is waived off till january 2019. regular visa (on arrival) charges are 2000 baht, and there is usually a long line. remember to take passport size pictures with you.

We were in Thailand last January they changed 2000(INR 4000) bhats per person as visa fee.

Usually its about 4.5k..but,now it’s for free .looks like thev’e extended the dates till April

Yes there is Visa on Arrival in Thailand. It costed us about RS 4000 at the Bangkok Airport. this was in Feb 2018. My friends for the same trip had applied for and received Visa in India itself which costed them only RS 2000/- You can check online for any revision of rates from last year!
