From mumbai - Igatpuri, Alibaug, Malshej ghat, Panchgani, Mahabaleshwar, kaas plateau, Pune, Rajmachi and Lonavala are great weekend getaways. From Ahmedabad - Kutch, polo forest, Silvassa, Dwaraka, Vadodara, statue of unity, Gandhi nagar and Modhera are must visit weekend spots. From Jaipur- Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, mount Abu are some spots to chill a weekend. From Srinagar- Pahalgam, sonamarg, Yusmarg, Kokernag, Gulmarg, doodhpathri and avantipura are some weekend spots. In addition I would suggest to look for some off beat paths and unexplored places in your vicinity / neighborhood that are still not visited by you instead of stretching far away for known places.
