Hey Keerthi, Best places to visit in summers are hill stations: 1) Kashmir ( Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg ). 5 Days budget itinerary of Kashmir : Day0: Arrive in Jammu and take a sharing jeep to Srinagar ( 10 hours- Rs 500). Or you can take a cab to Banihal ( Rs400 ) then from Banihal take a train to Srinagar ( 1.5 hours- Rs20) Day1: Local sightseeing of Srinagar - Dal Lake, Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Betaab Valley and old Srinagar city. The distance of gardens is 15km from the main city Day2 : Srinagar-> Sonmarg-> Srinagar. Spend at least one night at Shikara houseboat in Dal lake of Srinagar Day3: Sringar-> Gulmarg ( 3hours - 56KM).Visit Tangmarg town on the way to Gulmarg. Do activities like Gondola cable car, Ski and horse ride in Gulmarg Day4: Gulmarg-> Pahalgam ( 5 hours - 150KM). Visit Saffron fields of Pampora, Awantipura ruins and Bijbehara village on the way to Pahalgam. Spend the night at Pahalgam Day5: Pahalgam to Srinagar 2) Dharamshala - 4 Days itinerary https://www.tripoto.com/trip/four-day-itinerary-of-dharamshala-5bbf6eb477505?ref=mobwapp&source=awp 3) Darjeeling and Sikkim - Itinerary https://www.tripoto.com/trip/how-to-plan-for-darjeeling-and-sikkim-in-minimum-budget-5bacb0a591c80?ref=mobwapp&source=awp 4) Leh Round Trip - Itinerary You can visit Leh via road only from June to October as in rest of the month's road get blocked due to snowfall. Ladakh trip cost : 1) Via Road in June to October (the only time when roads remain open ) a)Bike on Rent from Delhi: It will cost you total 20k per person if you go with your friend on a single bike. b) Sharing Jeep from Manali: it will cost you approx 18k per person. 2)Via Air in rest of the months It will depend on air tickets( normally 5k per person from Delhi). Then it will cost you a total 20k per person. This all is a rough idea of cost. So always keep +5k extra with you. You can also do a round trip from Delhi to Manali to Leh to Srinagar to Delhi : Day 1 &2 Delhi to Manali to Leh Day3 Local sightseeing - Hall of Fame, Shanti Stupa, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Thikse monastery, Leh Palace Day4 Rafting In Zanskar river- Highest point for rafting in the world Day5&6&7 Khardung La pass, Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso Day8 Leh to Srinagar Day9&10&11 Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam Day12 Srinagar to Jammu Day13 Jammu to Delhi 5) Spiti Valley 6) Shimla and Kullu-Manali 7) Tirthan Valley Happy travelling!!!!

May will be ideal na ? for Sikkim
Hey Keerthi, l have covered Darjeeling, Sikkim and Meghalaya in one trip. So believe me and go to Sikkim instead of Darjeeling. If you have only three days, go for North Sikkim. This is my budget itinerary of Darjeeling and Sikkim: https://www.tripoto.com/trip/how-to-plan-for-darjeeling-and-si
Hi Keerthi, If you want a romantic anniversary holiday then visit Shimla/Manali/Kasauli. if you want adventure then you can go to Rishikesh for river rafting or Do paragliding in Birmingham Billing or hiking/trekking in Spiti Valley.

Hi there !! If you like spending time in quiet places then you can consider House of Rohet - Mihirgarh Jodhpur. A room with private pool is ultimate romantic for anniversary celebration, or you can consider some lakeside hotel in udaipur and go for lakeside candlelight dinner.

You can look for either Kashmir or sikkim...evn though both places would require atleast 10 days each..But u can Google and select the important places tgat you would like to visit...for e.g... In sikkim u can look for gangtok or north sikkim or pelling or combine them if you have time!!!
