If u want to explore the snow in it's full glory:
a) Kashmir is your go to place- sonmarg, gulmarg
b)- Shimla- ditch the hustle and bustle of the crowded city and head to kotkai! or even kufri (golden tulip is the property you wud want to stay/or homestay)
c)- Bir biling
d)Auli
e) Sikkim- nathula pass/changu lake
f) for offbeat locations- munsiyar

you can go to Manali for paragliding and many more adventurous activities. Or you can go to kufri for same.
UpvoteCommentAuli, Manali etc for sking For paragliding the best site is Bir billing. You are taken at the top of mountain in a vehicle and paragliding is done for almost 30 minutes. The view is beautiful. The pilots also do some stunts in paragliding like moving round etc if only you approve those stunts

Try to search for some trekking places. It will be more fun when find snow after climbing some big mountains. My experience with trekking was really good in uttrakhand.

I am Also planning to visit tungnath so i did research in the month of feb you can find lots of snow there. And auli is also the best place where you can get lots of snow. try going there only.

I must say its the best time to visit anywhere in mountains as you can easily find the snow everywhere but keep one thing in mind many roads can be blocked due to heavy snowfall. so just do check the weather information before visiting any place for snow. And do keep all the required thing with you . and if you are searching for some adventures activities the some places like manali,auli are the most famous places for such activities. for rafting and camping you can visit rishikesh, its really good there from rishikesh you can also go auli for snow and many other activities. Plan you journey really carefully dr arun aggarwal as you are going with you family so just do book all thing before visiting it will be much more easier for you. So all the best for you trip.
