I went to Goa during 20th August for a week or so.. since it is the monsoon season, watersports and even a lot of beach shacks would be closed bcoz of rains. However, the weather is usually pleasant and it doesn't always keep raining and since you are going to workation, I am assuming you would have few hours a day to explore so I believe you can totally go for it. If you are somebody who is ok with rains.. You can still explore good cafes, go for a walk at the beach, if you are someone who enjoys 'Me' time or less crowdy places, then it's a perfect time. Do confirm about the powercuts or availability of good wifi at the place you are planning to stay before leaving..

Yes it's gonna be raining. I'll suggest you to choose a place with a view for your workation so that when you wake up you have a beautiful view to look at through your window. Working constantly on your laptop will stress your eyes but a beautiful view will be a treat to your eyes since you won't be able to step out of your stayplace atleast till 5 pm I guess. I'll suggest places with mountain or snows as it makes a great view to me.
