I have seen some Solo female travellers during my solo travel, who even won't hesitate to share their room with boys. Zostel and Backpackers Panda are the best and safe solo travellers irrespective of gender. And a suggestion you shall make a fast moving everywhere and opt for public transport at maximum. And choose for crowded destinations may feel secure. And one more suggestion for safety, I know it's not good to speak about clothes but it's better to have regular comfortable Backpackers clothes like jeans, even if you face worst people they no need to fear. Solo travel initiative will make you stronger inside. Just move faster and alert, see the places, you will realise, what a lovely step u have taken. All the best from Solo travel addict
