Hi guys, Me& my friends have planned a trip for mcleodganj?-dharamshala including triund trek in d long weekend of 15th aug..we are keeping a tap on the weather but we want to be sure of the road conditions there .has anyone been there in last 1 month.

Hi Himani, Triund trek is not recommended in this month due to the slippery trail during this season. And while the road conditions can't be predicted, monsoons usually brings with it roadblocks and a chance of landslides.

I was there in February 2018. I am scared of heights and I had a lot of problems getting down from the Triund top. It was very slippery and there were several occasions when I could have literally died. I've made a vlog about that trip as well. I went to Mcleodganj last year during the 15th August weekend only.. We had the same concern regarding the condition of roads but they were all ill founded.. Roads were pretty safe even during rains.. You may want to check on Triund Trek.. Go on a day when weather forecast says its clear.. It is an easy trek otherwise
