Hi Manas, average accommodation cost for three people is Rs. 2,100 per night. Food cost per person is about Rs. 300 for three meals a day. So, that comes out to be Rs. 1,000 per person per day. Add the cost of petrol based on your car mileage and number of miles you will travelling and you will get your approximate total cost per head per day. Multiply that by the number of days you going to spend in Meghalaya and you have total cost of the trip per head.
UpvoteCommentHi Manas, are you renting a ZoomCar or some other self-driven car? You will have to check on their site for the most recent per day rental cost. Usually, it is around Rs. 2,000 for a hatchback. Petrol cost is around Rs. 12/km. So, now plug-in the places on GoogleMaps that you will be visiting and it will show you the number of miles. You will have to do the math of number of days + miles. I didn't take a road trip so I can't tell you exactly.
Day1: Pick up from Ghy Airport/railway station transfer to Shillong night stay at Homestay/Guesthouse. Before check in the stay visit Umiam Lake, Donbosco museum, Gulf Coast, Ward's Lake and drop to the stay.
Day2: After breakfast start to Shillong peak, Elephant fall, then proceed to Mawphlang village(Sacred grove forest) n heritage village, Laitmawsiang village (Garden of caves), Wahkaba fall and proceed to Cherrapunjee for overnight at Homestay/Guesthouse.
Day3: Early morning start to Double decker (Nongriat village) and noon time back to Cherrapunjee sightseeing. Overnight again at Cherrapunjee.
Day4: After breakfast Cherrapunjee to Mawlynnong cleanest Village in Asia on the way visit Pomlum viewpoint, Living root bridge, sky walk view point, Balancing rock, Village around and overnight stay at Mawlynnong.
Day5: Mawlynnong to Khrangsuri fall, Dawki (boating), visit Indo-Bangla border and evening back to Mawlynnong for night stay.
Day6: Mawlynnong to Tea garden near Shillong airforce, Laitlum canyon, sweet fall, cathedral church and drop to Guesthouse/Homestay at Shillong.
Day7: Shillong to Mawsynram and evening back to Shillong night stay.
Day8: Shillong to Mawlynngod village sightseeing and stay.
Day9: After you finish packing your bags and everything proceed to Ghy airport/railway station Total cost: for 4pax 57600 including 9days Eco sport kuv/Swift Dzire/Similar (including fuel, driver's stay/food), 8nights stay with breakfast and toll gate
Lunch, dinner, entry fees in sightseeing not include and your other personal expenses

UpvoteCommentIn that itinerary I gave you I provide 2 double rooms with attached toilet bathroom and all good stays with nice view and surroundings. Again if you want one room for 4people if you can adjust then it will be less.
