Hi Kavya, Banjar Valley is about two hours from Kullu. It is preferable to station in Banjar town since Jibhi, Shoja and Nagini are all within 15km radius.Check this article for more information - https://www.tripoto.com/trip/banjar-valley-itinerary

Kavya, Shangarh is 44km (1 hour and 30 minutes) from Banjar town. It is accessible by a taxi.
Hi Kavya, I don't think so, given Kullu is at quite a significant distance form Banjar and it takes a lot more time to travel in hilly areas. You can look for an accommodation in Banjar, there are multiple good options there. Jibhi is on the way from Banjar to Sojha (which is a distance of around 14 Kms. in all), so 2 of your destinations will be covered on this route. In case you haven't already traveled, have a great trip. In case you already have, hope you had a good one!

Not ideal! 🚗 Kullu to Banjar takes ~1.5 hrs, so staying in Jibhi or Shoja is better for exploring without long daily commutes. 😊

Stationing in Kullu to explore the Banjar Valley, including Jibhi, Shoja, and Nagini to Shangarh, is feasible but involves considerable travel. The total distance for the round trip is approximately 250 kilometers, taking about 6 to 7 hours by road. citeturn0search16 Given the distances and travel times, staying in Kullu may not be the most convenient base for exploring these areas. Opting to stay in Jibhi or Shoja would reduce travel time and allow for a more relaxed exploration of the Banjar Valley. Alternatively, you can consider staying in Shangarh, which is approximately 53 kilometers from Jibhi and offers a serene environment with panoramic views of the Sainj Valley. citeturn0search8 In summary, while it's possible to use Kullu as a base, staying closer to your destinations in the Banjar Valley would enhance your experience by minimizing travel time and providing more opportunities to explore the region.
