Reach Goa by train/bus, which is not that expensive. Have meals at local eateries which are in abundance. Travel within Goa by the local busses. Tag along with like minded people if you find them at your hostel, and I think you should be good!!

Dear Sharbani,
I am planning goa trip from 23 Oct -30 Oct. I am done with hostel booking at Vagator. You can reach goa by Bus ( dropng point- Mapusa) easy to reach north goa beaches. Mapusa is one of the main bus stop from where you can take public transport bus to Anjuna/Baga/Vagator (cost effective- 40-70 bucks)
