We were a group of four college friends and we had put up at Villa Kairos near Muthialpet market. It is a beautiful heritage property that gives you an old world charm of colonial Pondicherry along with all the modern amenities at a reasonable price. You can find them on Airbnb . Hi Sakshi, If you're looking for a luxury hotel, I would suggest La Villa where rooms cost about Rs 14,000 onwards. A mid-range hotel that you are sure to like is La Chateau, which is absolutely beautiful. Rooms here cost around Rs 5,000 and up. You can even try Treebo Red Lotus Heritage Hotel where a room will cost you about Rs 2,700. If you're looking for a good hostel, I would recommend Micasa Hostels. Hope this is helpful! I stayed in an Airbnb in White town. it's about 13-15 KMS from Auroville if that's your point of interest.

Just go near rock beach and ask for homestays u will easily get and it will cheap around 1k. else u can go to Auroville town there u will good homestays( search online)

Look for homestay online with good rating. You'll easily find a good one in a range of 1500-2000.

Try Les Hibiscus or the Promenade right on the Rock Beach. You may also try to book the guest house from the Aurobindo ashram as they also have a great location on the beach

Better go for hostel which is cheaper and safe compare to hotels... there are few hostels near by pondicherry railway station. 1. Valentine hostel : 8, Raja Singh St, MG Road Area, Puducherry, 605001
