If you want to make cheap you can share SUV from Siliguri to Darj..you can reach within 3 hrs. The route passes thru sukna forests & tea gardens & is quite scenic. If you are planning to come from Gangtok then its almost 4 hrs trip in shared car. This route is also scenic but it will not give the sukna forest flavour . However the best experience would be to catch the Darj-Himalyan Toy train from siliguri...cheapest fair although is Rs1200 its worth spending. It will take around 8.30-9 hrs to reach Darj
