Yes it’s a trekking spot. One famous trek spot is Railway trek which starts from Donigal I think. I tried once.
If u r looking for trecking try below 1. Gadayi kallu in beltgangady 2. Kumara parvatha in Subramanya 3. kodachadri Hill at kollur Remember mangalore will be too hot in May u r planning in peak summer if u want to have a good drive go for a drive mangalore to kuduremukh . Start early morning
