Hi Nabila, Karlsruhe is close to the borders of France and Switzerland. I recommend you head to Zurich for a couple days before moving on to Liechtenstein, known for its medieval castles, alpine landscapes and villages. Thereon, go to Milan for a couple of days. Spend your remaining days in Paris. This way you will be able to cover four distinct countries in 10 days.

From Germany, if you want to cover maximum countries at cheapest it should be the countries towards the east - Czech Republic(Prague),Poland(Vienna or Salzburg), Hungary (Budapest) in that order. This is way ambitious to cover Germany along with these 3 countries (actually just 3 cities) in 10 days, but if maximizing countries is what you want this is doable. The other option is take a bus/ train to Netherlands (Amsterdam) and Belgium (Bruges/Antwerp). These are slightly on the costlier side but worth the experience.Check where you can get cheaper hotels/hostels near city centre (Bruges or Antwerp or Amsterdam) and accordingly you can plan day trips to other cities while staying in one city. From my experience Amsterdam will always be most expensive, but worth checking. If you are crazy about Paris you can take a day trip to Paris from Berlin.I can completely guide you for Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bruges and Paris. But first decide on the itinerary and plan accordingly. Having said that Germany has some lovely places to see, so keep at least 2 days for Germany.
