Uttarakhand provides adventures activities. Where as Darjeeling provides scenic beauty with peace environment. So i suggest Darjeeling

Hi Kirti, it would depend upon how many days you have in your hand. You can head to Ranikhet, Almora, Bhimtal or Nainital. They have wonderful homestays and they are beautiful places. But since you have a lot of days at your disposal, you can consider sikkim as well. I'm attaching one post with this comment, you can go through it and plan your trip.

darjeeling is totally north east for uk you will have to depend on bus car for tarvel darjeeling sikkim you fly
