You can check zostel and moustache in jaisalmer. And can visit gadisar lake, jaisalmer fort, patwaon ki haveli and Sam sand dunes. Also, kuldhara village is quite near..If you are interested in checking ancient ruins.
Well..to each his own.. But yes..if u ask about my opinion..jaisalmer has an edge over pushkar anyday. But then again..it depends on an individual's areas of interests too.In pushkar..the mala is quite famous..But I don't think it's happening as of now..So it's totally your choice!!

1. Gadisagar Lake
2. Patwaon Ki Haveli
3. Bada Bagh
4. Kuldhara Village
5. Came safari and Jeep Safari in Sam Sand Dunes

Jaisalmer is a much better option, which has very much preserved its culture and heritage. Pushkar was nice, but the sand castle in Jaisalmer is something to see. Plus you get the to see the desert, and scarily, drive by where India keeps some of her nukes, all on the best road in India (its kept nice so that the military can get to the Pakistani border quickly).
Cazza backpackers in jaisalmer is good option and Prachi in Pushkar.
jaisamler Gadisar lake, bada bagh, Haveli, tanot mata mandir and san dunes.
Pushkar- Brahma temple, allu baba, savitri temple on mountain, and Gupt ganga is seculaded place.
Hi, you should spent (sleep) a night under the sky in the desert, I did it last year and it was an amazing experience. While in Jaisalmer I stayed at hotel Sahi Palace and they arranged it for me and was pocket friendly as well.
