Hey Anuja, If you want a comfortable journey then best is book a package. Or if you want to explore on your own like a real traveler then best is go on your own. Yes, you will surely get snow at Solang Valley. yes you will find snow at solang
bus goes at 8 am from hrtc bus stand to solang from manali rs 17.
for manikaran you need to get down at bhuntar and then take bus to manikaran gurudwara
please dont forget to do kheergang trek
stay at gurudwara is free

You will surely find snow at solang valley. You dont need any travel package you just have to book hotel. There are very good hotels available near mall road (city center). all other things can be done after reaching there and you will get a better deal if you book it after going there
