Hi,technologies in the field of photography are shifting gear these days, photographers are moving towards mirror less cameras,if you are buying a DSLR for the first time, you can consider buying an entry level body from either Canon or Nikon with a decent lens (consider buying a versatile lens that allows you to work on various aspects with a single lens,e.g 16mm-85mm lens,18mm-140mm lens,24-120mm etc) and consider going to mirror less if already into photography.
Buy a entry level nikon dslr.. like d5200, 5300.. 3400 etc.. u just need to upgrade ua lens after u have gained experience in the field of photography.. check my Instagram bidyut_018 ,i hv clicked wd d5200
It's depend on your budget
if beginner then nikon D5600 is the best option or else you can opt nikon D850 full frame dslr . best for travel , landscape and many more
Please tell your budget.
Sony alfa ILCA 77M is the best in the market, but if you have a group of people who into photography then you should go for a Canon 70D or something close, cause I guess most of them would be using the same company and it's easy to exchange lenses and stuff.
