I would suggest you to visit coorg or chikmanglur in karnataka, its not too far from kochi , you would love it .

I would suggest you to visit VAGAMON, Kerala..... best offbeat place i can say..... plan ur stay in Zostel... They'll take you to some unexplored beautiful places there..... Beautiful Hill station I assure!!
