Hi Bhavya, I recommend you to stay at Dodda Mane ( Famous Malgudi Days was shot here) , it's. not a lodge, but just like a hostel run by the family. you will have a homely feeling there. book in advance as it will be in high demand. Alternatively if u did not get the stay at Dodda Mane, you can book at Mallya residency. places to visit 1. Agumbe view point
2. research centre
3. Kundadri hills
4. Someshwara wildlife
5. kudlu theertha falls (Must) includes Trek of 2kms one side places near agumbe
1. Sringeri
2. Kuppali - Kuvempu's house
3. oorme falls near Sringeri
