Nice choice for travelling. Your date is okay but try to avoid that place after late july or august as rainy season would approach at that time. I can help you out with 2 travel agencies with whom I traveled in person.

Hi Neha, Kudos for choosing Sikkim! Its a heaven in purest form.
I have been there from late may to early June and can say that you won't be facing any problems apart from these:
1. If you travel East Sikkim (Silk Route) there MAY BE way too many clouds and you won't be able to see the distant mountain ranges and even Mt. Kangchenjunga) 2. In the north of sikkim there is Gurudongmar lake. Expect it to be clean with fresh water and not covered with snow. So thats okay as long as you can visit that place but certainly a different look to it.
3. Contact Yogesh(9547387973, 7795694830) he is my buddy and he runs a travel group in Gangtok. Really cool fellow. Tell him Karan (Wan's Friend) from Symbi-Pune recommended you and you will be sorted ;)

There wont be much problem. Just 80% chances of rain. And it will be cloudy you wont be able to see the distant mountains. May is the best time to visit. Make it early if possible, otherwise its not a problem
