In my opinion Kashmir have different feel/touch in different seasons. You will see more green kashmir in this time. yes this is a rainy season also you will feel hot weather too and no you will not get any snow at this time.

Mostly snow starts melting by June/July in Kashmir. However you will get to see the beauty of Kashmir in the form of greenery and lush meadows. You might encounter some rain too. Pehalgam particularly is very beautiful to visit. You may not get to see snowfall per say, however you can see snowclad mountains in the distance for sure.
UpvoteCommentThe temperature will be moderately hot - it won't be unbearable as such. It will be raining in July for sure - heavy or moderate cannot be predicted as weather in hilly areas is somewhat uncertain. You can probably find snow in some areas of phase 2.
Gulmarg in July is known for its warmth though the temperature ranges between 13 to 25 degree Celsius. This month is off season travel of Kashmir. Though best time is between march to June. Snow fall is usually between November end to December.

Yes definitely a good time to visit you will witness the wildflowers in the meadows of gulmarg at this time and about other places the greenry is at its best with a perfect weather to enjoy and even snow at phase 2 gulmarg
