See you can visit in one day also or two days depending on your comfert.
In amritsar golden temple and jallianwala bagh is just side by side which you can do first in morning time and then after having lunch at langar you can go to wagah border for the 3 o clock show and can comback by 7 o clock back to city.
You can do it in a day if you start by 8:00-9:00 AM in the morning.
Start with Golden temple than Jalia wala Bagh followed by lunch at brothers ka dhaba and then straight to Wagah border parade and then Dinner at Kesar da dhaba, end it with the night stroll at Town hall.
Hi, You can roam around in Amritsar in a day or two but Wagah border will take up an entire day or afternoon. We reached Wagah at 4pm and it was still very hot in April.
Golden Temple, Jallianwala bagh and Partition museum are nearby. But wagah border is 30kms away. It’s straight road so it will take less than an hour to cover that. If you are low on time skip partition museum.
Hi 30 hours are more than sufficient to cover both . We did that last November
We started our day at 9 am by visiting Golden Temple . Ate lunch at Langar. In afternoon ( around 4 pm we reached Wagah Border). REturned from there by 7 pm. Had dinner at Kesar ka Dabha (most famous) and again went to Golden Temple because its so beautifully lit at night. Next day morning we went to Jaliawala Bagh , had breakfast at some famous place (Sharma Sweet shop) , did some shopping and left for airport at 1pm.
