I use Gopro Hero 7 and have done some digging on Osmo action, Osmo is better than Gorpro in having a better UI & front screen in the camera. Other than these 2 points I trust Gorpro is better. You can even check out the new Go Pro Hero 8. They are planning to launch a screen mod as well for Gopro Hero 8.

GoPro is the best among action cameras. GoPro 8 is coming with Hyper smooth image stabilization 2.0 which is just stunning
