you will redeem the trip with the help of credit and some amount while the other person have to pay a discounted amount for the same.

The second person has to pay. the Redeemer gets the trip based on credits and tripoto pays the amount to the travel agency in his behalf

Twin sharing basically means both share the same room. Now in terms of Tripoto, if you bring someone with you, they will share the room with you and give their share(in terms of money). So, may be yours is free but the other person need to pay.
