Couchsurf your way when it comes to accommodation. If Couchsurfing doesn’t work out opt for hostels. Try the free walking tours in the hostels to get a feel of the city rather than paying for a guided tour.

Stay in a cheap accommodation, avoid luxury restaurants dont go for taxis or private transportation , instead use public transport. and most importantly dont buy alot of stuff in greece but spend more on travelling and exploring because at the end of the day thats what matters the most to us. happy travelling 😀

Your most welcome
Hi Kavita, I would suggest you try couch surfing or travelers hostel to reduce cost of stay. You can also opt for hitch-hiking if you feel safe. You could also add visiting free spots like parks/gardens and doing free activities like hiking/trekking/camping. I found this great link from Lonely Planet: https://www.lonelyplanet.com/amp/greece/athens/travel-tips-and-articles/the-best-free-things-to-do-in-athens/40625c8c-8a11-5710-a052-1479d2761fc6 Do check it out.

2 days in Athens 2 day tour to Delphi-Meteora 3 days in Mykonos (night life) 3 days in Santorini (Santorini Wine tasting, Oia-Fira trek) 3 days in Crete (Samaria Gorge is must do) Additionally, you can also look into Peloponnese /Nafplio, Thessaloniki, Naxos/Paros (islands) For budget traveling, don't go for luxury stay, you can try couch surfing and also don't buy unnecessary things which you might not need in future..
