How to go to Chennai from Mahabalipuram by public transport? How frequently buses are available and how much time will it takes to reach Chennai by bus?

Chennai is an hour away from Mahabalipuram. There is a bus at 7.30am and another at 9.45am. You could hire a cab or an Ola from Mahabalipuram to get back to the city which comes around to 1k. Kindly check in goibibo for cab fare.
