Just listen to music while travelling and when you reached your destination then connect with the local people,get more information about that place and chill the environment and follow the culture with pleasant mind

Interact with locals and volunteer in social work. try going to small places.

Just go with the flow. Don't plan too much and let literally everything and every day surprise you. Also, unless you want to publish stuff, keep it mild on photography. Sink in the moment. Important note- forget tensions and all the worries at home!!
