Hi, that's true transportation and accommodation are the biggest expenses. I would suggest making sure you are travelling at a time when it is easy to do things like camp and hitchhike. Carry your own tent with you and your own food supplies. And also be sure to book flights a couple of months before to get the best deals! That way, you can save a lot of expense .
