Hi Aniket, I'm a solo traveler and I've traveled abroad quite a few times, and it's absolutely safe! So don't worry! If this is your first solo trip, I would suggest that you visit a neighboring country - Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan or Thailand maybe. Otherwise, if you are flexible with your budget, then Australia is a great place to travel solo (ask me coz I've been there twice already!). You can definitely book a packaged trip and go, but if you wish to plan it all by yourself, then you can do that too.

Hi ,prebooking will be the best option for traveling abroad. It will be safe as well as people take fully responsibility there for it. You can travel to any country based on your budget and also your choice. If it's your first trip you should try it from neighbouring countries, mine first abroad trip was to Miami and I found really good place to live and connect with people there through FB. You can also join several groups there, to know more about the place which you would like to visit. Lastly, please make sure to check with the weather before you are traveling to any place. thanks

Hi Aniket, Planning a solo trip is not difficult as it sounds.Traveling alone to an unknown place is surely scary. But don't worry it is very easy also. I went on my 1st solo trip to Europe and covered only France and Italy in one month. It sounds less but here are the places i visited: Dieppe Pourville Etretat Rouen Paris Versaille Mont Saint Michael Naples Pompeii Rome Florence Pissa Luca Venice Treviso I lived like a native. I covered not just major cities but also small picturesque cities/towns. My trip was also unplanned, I did not have reservations all the time. I made reservation for Treviso at 1 am when I was in Venice and my check-out was next day. You will get great options at Booking.com and AirBnB. Also, in Europe there is a concept of Couch Surfing. You can make a reservation there and stay at some ones house for free. Yes its free!!! I did in Florence. It is basically for cultural exchange and very popular. Also, you can make use of BlaBlaCars for travelling which is very reasonable and safe. You can also book buses for as low as 1 euro if you book in advance like at least 3 months. Make a list of places you want to visit note down the distance between and them and also make a not of time it will take for you to travel. According finalize the number of days you need to plan. Then look for reservation options. Don't just plan for major cities, if you really want the feel of the place go to small towns also. Have fun and enjoy your trip.
