Chamba is at a distance of 596 km from Delhi via NH44. It takes over 12 hours to reach Chamba if you are driving non-stop. You can also reach Chamba via HRTC. HRTC buses run from Kashmere Gate ISBT to Pathankot everyday. From Pathankot, you can take a cab and reach Chamba. Chamba is at distance of 120 km from Pathankot, It takes around 4 hours in cab to reach Pathankot. If you do not wish to travel fro 12 - 13 hours in a go, then it is suggested that you should take a stay at Amritsar, from where Chamba is at a distance of around 235.3 km, and will take around 6 hours to travel.
